Mark founded Glandon Insurance in 1991 and has over 30 years in the insurance industry. He is a graduate of Old Dominion University, a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters (he is the past president of EVAHU) and is a member of the Optima Health Broker Advisory Board.
Marketing and Ancillary Support
Maureen is responsible for broker lead development and recruitment. Maureen also provides broker support with Medicare and Ancillary products as well as Marketing. Prior to coming to Glandon Insurance, Maureen worked for Lincoln Financial for 6 years and has a total of 25 years of insurance experience. Maureen is Medicare certified and holds her Life and Health license.
Terry works with brokers with Optima Health group and individual business. Terry came to Glandon Insurance after 30 years at Prudential where she worked with both brokers and clients handling sales and service of life and annuities. Terry has her Life & Health License as well as her Series 6. Terry has completed the National Association of Health Underwriters Health Care Reform Certification Course.
Ross brings with him 17 years of experience in the Virginia market for Group Employee Benefits, including life, disability, dental, supplemental, level funding medical plans and enrollment. As the Broker Relations Manager, he will be working to help our broker partners grow by providing a source for innovative and creative solutions to ensure they have all the necessary tools and knowledge to advise their clients of the changing world of Employee Benefits offerings and administration.
Broker Manager – Individual and Medicare Products
Robert will work across the Choice Insurance enterprise to enhance Individual and Medicare services and offerings to our internal organization, channel partners, brokers and clients. Previously, Robert was a regional Medicare and Health insurance expert for State Farm, where he was consistently garnering sustained acclamation’s (Lifetime President’s Club & Ambassador Life) for over a decade.
Jennifer successfully manages small, mid, and large-sized clients by assisting employers with coordinating all aspects of company-wide health insurance, benefit strategies and plan administration. Prior to coming to Choice Insurance, Jennifer started out in Geico’s call center then worked as a Service Manager at a local Allstate Agency and recently worked at Towne Benefits, building client relations. Jennifer holds both her Life and Health as well as P&C Licenses.
Retail Manager – Individual Health and Medicare Products
Danica is the managing Broker on the Retail side with Individual and Medicare products. She has over 20 years experience in sales and marketing. Prior to joining the team at Choice Insurance, Danica specialized in Union and Veteran Life Insurance gap benefits. Danica is AHIP and FFM certified and holds her Life and Health License. She is currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in New Media Internet Marketing.
New Business Representative – Employee Benefits
Jeff works with all size groups; anywhere from sole proprietors all the way to municipalities. Prior to joining the Choice Insurance team, Jeff worked for Allstate on new business sales with personal lines, supplemental benefits, as well as commercial and Life Insurance. Jeff holds both his Life and Health as well as P&C Licenses. He has a bachelor of science in Criminal Justice with a double minor in Psychology & English from Radford University.
Mary handles the COBRA Administration and Section 125 plans for Brokers and Groups. She has completed her certification courses in Section 125 Plans and COBRA Administration. Mary worked for Nationwide Insurance Company as a no-fault claims representative. She owned her own flooring company for 6 years and recently worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. in Allentown, PA for 11 years. Mary has her All Line Adjuster License as well as a degree in Business Administration from the State University at Albany, NY.
